How Audwyn handles your data. Short version: your audio never leaves your device, and the only data collected is what Google's ads need.
Audwyn is a free, on-device audio editor for Android, published by DecomLabs. There is no account, no sign-in, and no cloud. The app is supported by ads.
All editing — trimming, converting, recording, effects, extracting audio from video, ringtones, and everything else — happens locally on your phone. Your audio and video files, recordings, and exports are never uploaded to us or anyone else. DecomLabs has no server that receives your files and cannot access them.
To show ads, the app uses Google AdMob. Google's ads SDK collects and processes:
This data is collected and shared by Google, not stored by DecomLabs. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from apps that use its services.
The microphone is used only when you choose to record audio or use voice-to-text. Recordings are saved on your device. The app does not record in the background and does not offer phone-call recording.
The app accesses the audio (and, when you use the video tools, video) files you choose, so it can open them for editing and save your exports into your Music library. It does not scan or upload your library.
Audwyn is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
